Blue Ridge Mazda, your Kansas City Mazda dealer, is proud to reported that Mazda North American Operations recently reported their best October sales, in the U.S., since 2007. Mazda sold a total of 18,326 vehicles in the United States, showing an increase of 1.7 percent over last October’s figures. On the year, Mazda has sold a total of approximately 209,641 vehicles showing a 8.7 sales increase through the year thus far.
Certain trends stick out for Mazda sales through the month of October. One being that the Mazda6 had its best October since 2008, selling a total of 3,438 6’s, posting an increase of 39 percent over last year. The Mazda CX-7 is also showing some growth in October posting a 13 percent increase in sales with 2,807 vehicles sold this month. So far this year, CX-7 sales have increased 32 percent on the year with 30,642 CX-7 models sold. The Mazda2 is also showing a sales increase with a 52 percent jump and 954 vehicles sold in October of this year. The Mazda2 is boasting a 585 percent increase over last year and sales appear to be going in the right direction.
It wasn’t just the United States that had a big October, Mazda Motor de Mexico reported its best-ever October, best EVER, with sales of 2,594 vehicles, showing a 29 percent increase over 2010. Mazda Motor de Mexico’s year-to-date sales have increased 20 percent over last year, with total sales coming in at 23,316 vehicles sold.
