Blue Ridge Mazda, the leading Mazda dealer in Missouri, is excited to announce that Mazda recently partnered with Velocity network and will get extended coverage of the SCCA Pro Racing Playboy Mazda MX-5 cup race season. Mazda is excited as they can now show the masses how exciting the races really are and watch upcoming racing talent.
One fact that has gone unnoticed recently is the fact that Mazda has supported more racers over the past decade than any other automaker out there. Jim Jordan, Mazda North America’s Alternative Marketing Manager, went on the record and stated that, “Hardcore fans know that some of the most intense action can be found in the Playboy MX-5 Cup, Star Mazda and Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship. But if you weren’t at the race, you are left to take our word for it. Now, thanks to a partnership with Velocity, and Carolinas Production Group, fans can enjoy the action on a regular basis from their living room.” This new development will be huge for not only the cup, but also Mazda in racing.
The deal has TV broadcasts regularly-scheduled for the weekends on Velocity titled “The Mazda Motorsports Hour.” Digging deeper into the deal, “The Mazda Motorsports Hour” will run 24 shows and will be spread throughout April to November. The shows will vary in subject ranging from SCCA Pro Racing Playboy Mazda MX-5 Cup coverage to Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda video coverage and everything in between. This new agreement can only mean good things for Mazda from here on out as they gain more exposure with the help of Velocity.
